Pastor Howard Johnson became a Christian in June 2001. His passion is may his lips and life bring glory to God.
He graduated from Bethel Bible College Kingston Extension in 2005 and got married to Tamara in August 2014.
She is the love of his life and biggest supporter. Pastor Johnson has a great passion for preaching and
teaching God’s word. He formally served as Youth Fellowship President and Assistant Young Adult
Ministry President at the Waltham Park Road New Testament Church of God. Other areas for service
include functioning as a member of the Waltham Park Church Council Board and as the Director of
Evangelism both for his local Church and the Waltham District of Churches.
He is a Sunday School teacher and the member of an all-male Dub Poetry group called “Positive
Influence”. He received his international ministerial credentials in 2017 from the Church of God in the
United States of America which is the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica. He has preached across
the island of Jamaica and offered brief Pastoral leadership to two churches. Currently, he serves as the
Assistant Pastor at the Waltham Park Road New Testament Church of God with direct oversight for
Evangelism. However, the most important thing is that he is a child of God one who loves the Bible and
desires to see God’s people grow into the image of Christ.
